Scuba Diving not your thing…yet?
You can still get in the waters around Nanaimo and enjoy some of the same things the divers enjoy. Our waters are diverse with life. Pick up your snorkeling set, wade into one of many snorkeling locations like Neck Point Park, Pipers Lagoon, Departure Bay – almost any where there’s water. All you need is your mask and snorkel, a pair of light weight fins, and maybe depending on the time of year just a bathing suit or a wetsuit.
